Biography

Prof. Marek Przybylski studied at AGH in Krakow, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics and Electronics, completed in 1977, speciality in technical physics. Prof. Przybylski obtained PhD degree in physical sciences in 1985 at the Institute of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Ph.D. in natural sciences (Dr. rer. Nat.) in 1988 in Germany. Habilitation at the Faculty of Physics and Nuclear Technique of AGH in Krakow, title of professor of physical sciences in 2007.

From 1976, he was employed at the Department of Solid State Physics, currently at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science AGH in Krakow, since 2008 as a full professor. From 1999 associated with Max-Planck-Institut für Mikrostrukturphysik in Halle, Germany, in 2003. From 2013 employed as a group-leader of an international research team. From April 2013 he was the director of the AGH UST Academic Center for Materials and Nanotechnology.

Author and / or co-author of approx. 140 publications in magazines from the so-called Philadelphia list, dozens of works in conference materials and reports, and several hundred conference presentations, including many invited ones.
