Dr. Pavel Ctibor is currently working as a researcher at Institute of Plasma Physics ASCR and as an Associate professor in Materials and technologies for electrical engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, CTU Prague. In 1994 he graduated from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Czech Technical University, Prague. Between 1995-2000 post-graduate program at the Department of Materials, Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University, Prague with “Study of structure and properties of plasma deposits of perovskite-related ceramics”. Since 1994 he is a member of the Material Engineering Dept., Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP), Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague. Between April 2003 and February 2004 he worked as a post-doc at Higher Engineering School, Limoges, France. In 2009 was invited to one month stay at University of Limoges, France for work on the topic Plasma spraying of ceramics. Author of approx. 100 scientific publications in journals and conference proceedings and 4 patents. Member of the scientific committee of the European Materials Reseach Society Spring Meeting 2009.
