Biography

Doctor of chemical sciences; graduate of Faculty of Chemistry Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland; Chemistry, Nanomaterials, Nanotechnologies;

Associate professor Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland; Head of the Department of Inorganic and Coordination Chemistry;

Author and co-author of numerous articles in scientific journals on: (a) coordination chemistry (synthesis, structural characteristics, and determination of photocatalytic activity of multinuclear titanium(IV) and zirconium(IV) oxo-complexes) and (b) nanomaterials used for the design and construction of medical devices (surface modification of titanium and titanium alloys implants, the production of silver nanoparticles and their use as abiocidal agent).

Polish Chemical Society; Vice-President of the Coordination Chemistry Section; from 2000 up to now.
