Julia Aleksandra Zakrzewska is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, where she obtained her engineering degree in 2020, and completed her master’s studies in 2023 with a specialization in Bioengineering. During her engineering and master’s theses, conducted at the Department of Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering, she focused on surface modifications and the study of biomedical properties of polyurethane materials, collaborating with the Military University of Technology, among others.
In February 2023, she joined the NanoSanguis team, where she actively participates in the development of the innovative NanOX system, designed for organ perfusion and transport. As part of her work, she conducts research on animal organs, performs biochemical analyses, and prepares research documentation.
Since June 2024, Julia has held the position of Junior Project Manager, co-responsible for organizing the project team’s work and further development of the NanOX system. She is involved in key aspects of the project aimed at revolutionizing the organ preservation process for transplants.
