Professor, Exceptionnal class since 2010, promoted second step 2017. (section 33 materials chemistry) Admitted IUF Senior Member since October 2014. (IUF is a distinction which elects 40 senior members and 70 junior each year, among all the French university)

Recruited as CNRS permanent member in the Laboratoire d’Electrochimie Moléculaire, (Paris 7 University) director Dr C. P. Andrieux, in may 1988.

Promoted to a professor position in the University of Franche Comté (Laboratoire de Chimie et d’Electrochimie Moléculaire) in october 1993. Change to a new professor position in Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan in 1998 onwards. Leader of a 8 -14 people research team, in the PPSM Laboratory until 2016, when the leadership of the group was passed onto Dr. G. Clavier.

Post-doctoral position in the Laboratoire de Physico-chimie Moléculaire du Centre d’Etudes Nucléaires de Grenoble from August 1987-April 1988 (dir. Dr. M. Pinéri)

One month stay at the end of 1988 by Pr A. Merz in Regensburg University (Germany). Two month stay (aug-sept 96) invited Warsaw technical University (by Pr A. Pron).

Visiting invited professor in Japan (2001 ONRA, Osaka, 2016 Chiba Univ. Tokyo), in South Africa (Witwatersrand Univ.) in 2001, and in USA (Florida, the UF in Gainesville) in 2002 and 2003, Research stay in HKUST (Hong-Kong) in 2004; Iinvited Tarrant professor in UF in 2009, in Yonsei (Séoul, Korea) in 2006, 2008 and 2013 (lecturer); World Class U. Professor in SNU (Seoul) in 2011. Invited prof. in Jiliang U. (Hangzhou, China) in 2016. 5 years associate Zhejiang professor (2 months/y) in ECNU (Shanghai) from 2006 to 2011.

Invited lecturing professor in the ECNU (Shanghai, China) in january 04, 2007 and 2016, in the framework of the PROSFER French-chinese student exchange program. Teaching lecturer in U. Gdansk in 2010. Teaching lecturer in Phnom-Penh in 2010 (sollicitated by AUF)

Co-organizer of the French conference on conducting polymers in 1990, and permanent member of the scientific committee between 1993 and 2007). Full organizer of the 2003 conference (Dourdan, Paris), co-organiser in 2017 (in partnership with B. Ratier, Limoges University). Co-organizer of the MOMENTOM Conference in Paris (with H. Remita, U. P11) and of IWBPM in Vogüé (with C. Andraud, ENS Lyon)

Adviser and/or co-adviser of about 43 PhD students, and invited into over 100 PhD and habilitation jurys, among which about 15 in foreign countries. Author of several thematic and keynote lectures (about 15) in international and national conferences (2 keynote lectures in 2016, one in 2018), author and/or co-author of more than 190 research papers (list below) and 6 book chapters. H = 40.
