Paweł Jarka completed his Ph.D. at Division of Materials Processing Technology, Management and Computer Techniques in Materials Science, Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials, the Silesian University of Technology where he is currently employed. The subject of his doctoral thesis was “The optoelectronic properties of active layers obtained by PVD methods in organic photovoltaic devices”. His scientific interests concern functional materials including materials with special optical and electrical properties. Currently, he is a member of the team that conducts research in the field of application of organic and composite (nanocomposite) materials in photovoltaic and optoelectronic structures.During his scientific activity, he has participated in many scientific international conferences. He is an author and co-author of ca. 30 scientific publications worldwide including 10 publications in the Philadelphia list, he is and was a contractor of research and didactic projects and a reviewer of numerous scientific publications.
