Agnieszka Kaczor (ORCID: 0000-0001-8337-8567, Scopus Author ID: 57201126143) is an associated professor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where she is a leader of the Chiroptical Spectroscopy Group (webpage: www.chiropt.eu). Her research focus on using spectroscopic and microscopic methods to analyze biological systems and recently she is particularly interested in applying vibrational chiroptical spectroscopies (Raman Optical Activity and Vibrational Circular Dichroism) to study chiral supramolecular systems of biogenic origin, such as carotenoid aggregates and amyloid fibrils. She is the co-author of 94 papers in international journals from the Journal Citation Reports database, including prestigious Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Phys. Chem. Lett., Chem. Commun. or, recently, Prog. Lipid. Res. (2763 citations, 11.08.2022, Scopus). She is also a co-author of several book chapters (Wiley, Springer) and the co-editor of a Wiley book “Carotenoids: Nutrition, Analysis and Technology”. Additionally, she was or currently is a principal investigator or a participant in ca. 20 international and national scientific projects, a member of International Steering Committee of International Conference on Vibrational Optical Activity and International Advisory Board of SEEDS4CD. She was also a co-organizer of several conferences and seminars, is a reviewer of numerous international journals, National Science Center projects, and a reviewer and expert of National Centre of Research and Development.
