Katarzyna Młynarek is PhD candidate in the Joint Doctoral School of Silesian University of Technology. She conducts her studies in the Department of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where she also received the MSc degree. Her doctoral dissertation is focused on designing the chemical composition of aluminium alloys with amorphous, nanocrystalline and quasicrystalline structure based on the optimization of thermodynamic parameters. Her research interests include also bioresorbable magnesium alloys for medical applications as well as electrochemical corrosion and calorimetric measurements.
