Krzysztof Pęcak graduated from the Silesian University of Technology with a degree in Materials Engineering. As a participant in Vulcanus in Japan programme, he trained as an intern at Hitachi Chemical, where he worked on materials for printed electronics. Currently, he is involved in several projects at Łukasiewicz – IMN, where he carries out R&D work focused on metal powders and composites. Krzysztof has just started his PhD studies, during which he will work on powders of refractory metals. His research interests are plasma spheroidization, high-entropy alloys, refractory metals and additive manufacturing.
