Professor of Technical Sciences, academic lecturer, and researcher specializing in coordinate metrology. Vice-Rector for Development of the Warsaw University of Technology for the 2024–2028 and 2020–2024 terms. From 2012 to 2020, he served as Director of the Institute of Metrology and Biomedical Engineering, and later as Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics at the Warsaw University of Technology. In 2005–2006, he worked as a visiting professor at Polytechnique Montréal in Canada.
Author of nearly 200 scientific publications, including 2 monographs and dozens of articles in prestigious international journals. Organizer and leader of more than a dozen innovative and research projects, also carried out in cooperation with Polish enterprises. He has supervised 6 PhD graduates in technical sciences and dozens of master’s and engineering students. Chair of the Metrology Council (2nd term), member of the Science Evaluation Committee (2023–2027), and numerous other institutions.
