Przemyslaw Oberbek has graduated from Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw. He received a PhD on Materials Science and Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology where he was working on microscopic methods for materials characterization, composites for bone tissue regeneration and cytotoxicity of nanomaterials.
Currently Przemyslaw works at the Department of Chemical, Biological and Aerosol Hazards in the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute. His conducts research in Aerosols, Filtration and Ventilation Laboratory are focused on nanomaterials safety, occupational exposure to manufactured nano-objects, air dust sampling and assessment of airborne dangerous substances.
He is a member of the European Working Groups: CEN/TC 137/WG3, CEN/TC 352/WG1, CEN/TC 352/WG3 and ISO Working Group ISO/TC 229 WG3. He is also a chairman of the Polish Technical Committees PKN KT 314 (Nanotechnology).
