Rafał Stanik, Dipl.-Ing., research associate at the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) of the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) and joint doctoral student at the Warsaw University of Technology. His current research is focused on the understanding and modelling of material behaviour of fast curing thermoset polymers, in particular during processing with press- and infusion-based manufacturing processes. The focus is on the efficient implementation of component families of small batch sizes and large variety using flexible tooling systems.
