The conference brought together entrepreneurs, scientists, representatives of business support institutions, and students, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and building collaboration between science and industry.
During InterNanoPoland 2025, the latest achievements in nanotechnology and advanced materials were presented, both in terms of scientific research and their practical industrial applications. The conference was officially opened by Adam Szatkowski, PhD, MBA, President of the NANONET Foundation, Prof. Agnieszka Sobczak-Kupiec (Cracow University of Technology), and Prof. Adam Woźniak, Vice-Rector for Development at the Warsaw University of Technology.
One of the key highlights of the programme was the plenary lecture delivered by Dr Denis Koltsov, titled “Commercialisation patterns and strategies in Advanced Materials”, focusing on effective strategies for bringing advanced materials to market. Once again, InterNanoPoland proved its role as a platform successfully connecting the worlds of science and business.
The 2025 edition was held fully onsite at the Vienna House Easy by Wyndham hotel in Katowice, fostering intensive networking and direct interactions among participants.
The event was organised by the NANONET Foundation, Nova Technologies, and the Silesian Nano Cluster. Their shared mission is to create a collaborative platform for companies, research institutions, public administration, and business support organisations, while strengthening the role of nanotechnology in shaping a modern, innovation-driven economy in Poland and Europe.
The City of Katowice once again served as the co-host of the conference. The thematic sessions were organised in cooperation with leading academic institutions, including the Warsaw University of Technology, Cracow University of Technology, the University of Silesia, and the Silesian University of Technology.
The InterNanoPoland 2025 programme focused on the most important challenges and development directions in nanotechnology and advanced materials – from both scientific and industrial perspectives. Particular emphasis was placed on practical aspects of technology implementation and their impact on modern economies.
Discussions held during expert sessions and panel debates highlighted nanotechnology as a key driver of future technologies – spanning industry, energy, medicine, and advanced material applications.
InterNanoPoland 2025 played an important role in the internationalisation of the Polish nanotechnology sector and in showcasing the potential of Polish companies and research institutions on the European and global stage. The conference contributed to building strong science–business relationships and to defining new development trends within the industry.
